Relationship counselling
“Whenever you're in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude.” – William James
What is relationship counselling?
Conflict occurs in every relationship. Although not an exhaustive list, some common relationship issues include:
Many people believe that relationship counselling is a last resort to saving a relationship. But by that point, it is often too late. Counselling should begin as soon as the issue begins to interfere with your everyday life.
Believe it or not, relationship counselling is not just for married people. It can also benefit cohabiting couples, family members and individuals in any type of relationship i.e. a business relationship. And you do not have to wait until serious problems occur before seeking counselling. Some people start counselling early on in their relationship to prevent these problems from developing.
How we can help
From a safe and non-judgmental space, we can help individuals, couples and families identify key areas for change and equip them with the communication skills necessary to better manage conflict and cope with stress, creating a stronger, healthier and happier relationship. Our expert support shifts the focus away from blame and fault, towards the personal strengths and positive attributes that each individual brings to the relationship resulting in an ‘us versus the problem’ perspective rather than ‘me against you’.
If you, or anyone you know is experiencing any of the issues above, book an appointment with us at Clearview Pathway
